We got our house under contract!!! I haven't really posted about this because we have been trying to see where we stood as far as timing, but Jacob has been transferred down to Corpus Christi. He is excited about it because it means good things for his career, but we are all a little sad. We are sad because Garrett lives here in DFW. We love our church and all of our amazing friends. This has all we've known together since we've been married.
We were really having to trust God in this market to sell our house. We didn't have enough equity in it to list it with a realtor, so we just had to stick a sign in the yard and get on our knees praying. On Sunday, a really sweet girl and her son came and looked at the house. She loved it and made an offer!! We are so blessed to be even selling our house in the economic situation we are in. So now we can rest easy and thank the Lord that he is taking care of us. It is so hard to always trust God and have Faith, but He always comes through.
We are going to miss everyone, but at least we will live by the beach so people can come visit us!!

oh I am SO happy for you!! i know the pressures of feeling like you have to "hurry up" and sell! I am glad that is one less thing for you to have to worry about. we are sad to see you go too- Garrett has been so blessed to have you as close as you have been for so long! Let me know how it goes!!!
Congrats on the big news hun - thats huge! I hope you're excited about this new adventure - and you're right, God is good...he takes care of us all. Keep us updated on moving plans, etc and be sure to send updated address out when you've got it!
